Pattaya's MICE identity is built almost entirely around Royal Cliff's PEACH complex: four halls combining into 6,925 sqm seating over 10,000 theatre-style, a scale that puts it ahead of anything in Chiang Mai or Phuket and within range of Bangkok's own biggest venues. Everything else in Pattaya is a hotel convention hall or ballroom at a fifth to a tenth that size — Dusit Thani's Napalai hall, Centara Grand Mirage's Mirage Grand Ballroom, and similar rooms at Amari and Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien.
What makes Pattaya work as a MICE destination isn't really that exhibition-hall scale — it's that a 90-minute-to-two-hour road transfer from Bangkok puts a genuine beach resort within reach of a budget that couldn't justify a flight. A conference booking PEACH gets Bangkok-adjacent convenience with a resort as the accommodation; an incentive group booking one of the smaller hotel ballrooms gets the beach without giving up a proper meeting room for the business half of the trip.
Getting There
No international flight lands close enough to matter for a corporate group — U-Tapao (Rayong-Pattaya, UTP) has limited scheduled service — so delegates fly into Suvarnabhumi and travel the rest of the way by road. Budget 90 minutes on a good day, up to two and a half hours on a Friday evening or a holiday weekend, via Motorway 7.
Best For
Pattaya is genuinely good for the mid-size national or regional conference that wants resort accommodation without a flight, and for combining a business day with an incentive-trip tail. It's a weaker choice for a genuinely international conference — the destination reads as a domestic beach town to many overseas delegates in a way Phuket doesn't — and PEACH aside, the meeting rooms here are sized for a few hundred people, not a few thousand.

Hall C alone still runs to a 2,376-seat theatre — a genuinely large room by itself. It sits on the Royal Cliff resort's own promontory above the bay, so delegates get a resort stay with the convention hall a golf-cart ride away rather than a coach transfer.

Three LED screens are built into the room, and it divides for a concurrent breakout. The wider hotel adds 21 meeting rooms and 3,601 sqm of total function space, so a multi-day programme can run plenary and breakouts without leaving the property.
