The Journey

A honeymoon, not a tour

The most common mistake we see couples make on a honeymoon is moving too much — five islands in a week, five check-ins, five sets of unpacking, and a flight home spent recovering from the holiday rather than from the wedding. This journey moves exactly once, and does it on purpose. Three nights in Bangkok let you land, sleep, and eat properly before anything else is asked of you. From there, two coasts chosen for how unlike each other they are: the Gulf side, quiet and jungle-backed, then the Andaman, polished and dramatic with limestone rising out of the sea.

Privacy is the point on both, not a feature listed alongside others — a private-pool villa, a beach you can walk without meeting anyone, dinner brought to wherever you are rather than a dining room, and — if that is what you want on a given day — no one at all. A few days on each coast carry a plan. The rest are left open, on purpose.

"Three nights in Bangkok, then two coasts that felt like two different countries. We never once touched a booking — someone else had already moved it for us."

Arrival & Bangkok

Bangkok · Capital

You are met at the airport and driven in without anything expected of you that evening — no welcome ritual, no set agenda, just a room and an early night if that is what the flight calls for. The days that follow are unhurried: one given over to temples and street food at a pace built for two, the rest left soft, so that by the time you fly south to the islands you have already stopped counting time zones rather than starting the honeymoon exhausted.

  • Private airport meet and transfer — no itinerary attached to the first evening
  • A full day for temples and street food, paced for two rather than a group
  • Dinner kept simple and close to the hotel on arrival night, by design
  • One quiet morning built in before the flight south, so the first coast starts rested

Koh Phangan — The Quiet Coast

Koh Phangan · Thong Nai Pan

There is no airport on Koh Phangan, which sounds like an inconvenience until you see what it buys the island: you fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui, then cross by private speedboat to Thong Nai Pan on the north-east coast, and the crowds simply never follow. Arrival is straight into a beachfront pool villa, the sea a few steps from the bed. The bays here are reachable overland only by a single steep road, which is exactly why they have stayed this empty while the island's famous full-moon side fills up on the opposite coast. One full day is left entirely unplanned, on purpose — no programme, no pickup time, nothing to be ready for.

  • Private speedboat transfer from Koh Samui straight to Thong Nai Pan
  • A longtail out to Bottle Beach (Haad Khuat), which has no road to it at all
  • Than Sadet waterfall, where Thai kings — Rama V among them — carved their initials into the rocks
  • Sunset from the west coast, the only side of the island that actually faces it

Phuket & the Andaman

Phuket · Phang Nga Bay

A short flight from Samui to Phuket puts you on the other side of the peninsula entirely — a different coast, a different sea, deliberately so. The villa sits on the quieter north-west, away from the strip most visitors picture when they hear the island's name. From here a private long-tail or motor yacht runs into Phang Nga Bay at first light, timed to reach the hongs — collapsed cave lagoons entered by kayak through a low limestone tunnel — before the day-tour boats arrive and the water fills with wake. The tide decides the hour you can get in, not the schedule, so mornings here move at the sea's pace rather than the itinerary's. What is left over is spent in Old Phuket Town, among Sino-Portuguese shophouses that have nothing to do with beaches at all, and one evening set up somewhere that isn't a restaurant.

  • Private boat into Phang Nga Bay at dawn, ahead of the day-tour traffic
  • Kayaking through a low tunnel into a hong — a hidden lagoon inside a collapsed limestone cave
  • Old Phuket Town — the Sino-Portuguese shophouses on and around Thalang Road
  • A private dinner set up somewhere that is not a restaurant

What's Included

Curated Experiences

  • Private-Pool Villa

Every night on both islands in a villa with its own pool — the sea within sight, other guests out of it.

  • Two Coasts, One Journey

The Gulf and the Andaman are handled as a single move, not two separate trips — speedboat, flight, and both land transfers arranged end to end, so the two of you change scenery without ever touching a booking.

  • A Longtail at Dawn

A private boat into Phang Nga Bay before the day-tour traffic arrives, or an evening on the water off Koh Phangan — timed to the light and the tide, not a schedule.

  • Dinner, Elsewhere

One meal set up somewhere the hotel keeps for this — a cove or a stretch of sand, not the dining room.

  • Days Left Open

A full day on Koh Phangan with nothing written on it, and evenings on both coasts left unscheduled. Not a gap in the planning — the reason for the trip.

  • A Quiet Word in Advance

Dietary notes, honeymoon amenities, and late checkout arranged with the hotel before you land, not requested on the day.
