A slower, more traditional alternative to a catamaran sail — an open wooden longtail boat with its distinctive long propeller shaft, cruising along Koh Samui's coast as the sun drops, closer to the water and with a rawer, more local feel than a resort-style sunset cruise.
How to Prepare
Life jackets should be worn even on calm water in an open boat. Bring a light layer for the evening breeze and keep phones or cameras in a dry bag — longtails sit lower and can take some spray.
