Snorkeling at a lesser-visited spot within the 42-island Ang Thong Marine Park, away from the two or three islands every standard day-tour boat stops at — coral and reef fish in clearer water than the park's busiest anchor points, reached by operators willing to route around the main tour-boat circuit.
How to Prepare
Reef-safe sunscreen is not optional here — this is a protected marine park and standard sunscreen chemicals damage coral. Bring your own mask and snorkel if you have a well-fitting set; rental gear quality varies significantly between operators.
