Covering Sukhothai Historical Park's wide, flat grounds by rented bicycle — the standard and most enjoyable way to move between the park's separate temple zones, which are too spread out to comfortably walk in full. Quiet paved paths wind between reflecting ponds and 700-year-old ruins with far less traffic than a typical Thai road.
How to Prepare
Rental bikes are available cheaply at the park entrance; check brakes and tire pressure before setting off. Sun protection matters more than exertion level — the ride itself is flat and easy, but shade is scarce across the open park.
