What to Expect
A striking modern temple complex on a mountaintop, faced almost entirely in mosaic ceramic tiles in blues, whites, and golds, with five large seated Buddha statues overlooking a dramatic drop into the valley below. It's a relatively young temple, built in the 2000s, but has quickly become one of central Thailand's most visually distinctive religious sites.
How to Prepare
The mountain access road has switchbacks — those prone to motion sickness should plan accordingly. Standard temple dress (shoulders and knees covered) applies, and the exposed viewing platforms offer no shade, so sun protection matters even in cooler mountain air.
